THREE BLAZERS OFF TO ECHL

The three 20 year olds who finished out the career with the Kamloops Blazers are all of to the ECHL with tryout deals in place.

CJ Stretch will be joining the Ontario Reign in California. Stretch who played 341 games in a Blazer uniform finished his career with 85 goals and 248 points. The California native will play his first game Saturday night.

Kurtis Mucha is on his way to Stockton in California to join the Stockton Thunder. Mucha who appeared in 32 games with the Blazers leaves with two CHL records in his pocket. Mucha played in 245 WHL games and played 13,708 minutes, both CHL records, over a five year career.

Blazers Captain Ryan Funk got the call late Thursday, and will join the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL. Funk played in 276 career games in the WHL finishing with 71 points and 454 penalty minutes over a five year career. Funk will be in the lineup Friday night for the Steelheads
