BLAZERS FIND RANGE IN AHL

Two Kamloops Blazers spending time in the American Hockey League have scored their first professional goals.

Nick Ross scored his first AHL goal with the San Antonio Rampage on Tuesday night as they earned a 3-2 win against the Stars in Iowa.

Brady Calla notched his first pro goal on Saturday night in a 6-2 Rochester Americans loss to the Marlies in Toronto then scored the game winner in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Lake Erie Monsters.  Calla had picked up an assist in an 8-4 loss in Hamilton on Wednesday.

The AHL regular season wrapped up on Sunday with Ross and the Rampage headed to the Calder Cup playoffs while Calla and the Americans have benn eliminated from post-season contention.
