RUBELS RETURN AS BILLET COORDINATORS

KAMLOOPS, BC – Kamloops Blazers Vice President and General Manager Craig Bonner announced today the return of Doris and Kerry Rubel as the club's Billet Coordinators.

"We are very excited to have them back looking after our billeting," says Bonner.  "They had been a big part of our success over almost 30 years with the Blazers and Junior Oilers and before that as well, so it means a lot to have them back with the organization."

Doris Rubel has been recognized by both the Blazers - as a Legend in the Builders category - and the Western Hockey League - as a recipient of a WHL Lifetime Achievement Award.

"We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Wally and Sherlane Reutlinger who served as billet coordinators over the past few seasons," concluded Bonner.
