BLAZERS SIGN JC LIPON TO A WHL CONTRACT


Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers General Manager Craig Bonner is proud to announce the signing of sixteen year old JC Lipon of Regina, Saskatchewan to a standard WHL contract. Lipon was listed by the hockey club just before the 2009 Bantam draft.

"JC has constantly impressed us throughout training camp" says General Manager, Craig Bonner. "We are excited that JC has committed to our program and look forward to watching his continued development throughout the upcoming season."

Lipon played centre for the Regina Pat Canadians last season in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA League.

BLAZERS SIGN DYLAN WILLICK TO A WHL CONTRACT

 

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers General Manager Craig Bonner is proud to announce another signing. The team has signed sixteen year old Dylan Willick of Prince George, B.C. to a standard WHL contract. Willick, who will turn seventeen in October, was listed by the hockey club in February 2009.

"We are excited with the addition of Dylan to our hockey club" says General Manager, Craig Bonner. "Dylan has been tremendous throughout training camp; we believe he will be a strong contributor for many years with our hockey club.”

Willick played right wing for the Cariboo Cougars last season in the BC Major Midget League collecting 15 goals and 32 assists for 47 points in 40 games.

BLAZERS SIGN TROY TROMBLEY TO A WHL CONTRACT

 

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers General Manager Craig Bonner is proud to announce the third signing since the beginning of training camp. The team has signed fifteen year old Troy Trombley of Sherwood Park, Alberta to a standard WHL contract. Trombley, a goaltender, was drafted by the hockey club in the 3rd round of the 2009 Bantam draft.

Trombley played Bantam AAA in Camrose last season; this year, he plans to play Midget AAA in the Edmonton area.

The Blazers have now signed their first three draft picks from the 2009 Bantam draft, including Brady Gaudet (1st round) and Logan McVeigh (2nd round).
