KULCHAR DEALT TO SILVERTIPS

Kamloops, BC – Kamloops Blazers General Manager Craig Bonner has announced today that the club has traded 19 year old defenseman Curtis Kulchar to the Everett Silvertips in exchange for a 5th round bantam pick in 2011.

“It was necessary to make this move to give our younger players a better chance to play” Bonner said. “This transaction will also give Curtis an opportunity to get into the line up regularly. Curtis is a first class individual and we wish him nothing but the best in Everett.”

The Kamloops Blazers roster now sits at 22 players, including 13 forwards, 7 defenseman and 2 goaltenders.
