BLAZERS INTRODUCE DAN DE PALMA AS GOALTENDING COACH

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers Hockey Club is proud to announce the hiring of Kamloops resident Dan De Palma as the team’s new Goaltending Coach. De Palma will replace Steve Passmore who recently stepped down citing time commitment issues.

 "We're excited with the addition of Dan De Palma to our coaching staff" says Head Coach, Barry Smith. "Dan brings an abundance of knowledge to the table, and will be a good fit for our young goalies and our coaching staff".  

Dan's hockey background includes, several years of coaching from the Atom to midget level in minor hockey. He has also worked at various hockey schools all over British Columbia from Prince George to Vancouver. De Palma most recently was a regional scout and goaltending coach for the Prince George Cougars for the past three years.

"I am thrilled to be joining an organization with an excellent tradition. I look forward to improving the goaltending position and working with the coaching staff of Barry Smith, Scott Ferguson and Geoff Smith." 

De Palma's duties as Goaltending Coach will commence immediately.
