Scott Ferguson- Assistant Coach

Scott Ferguson is entering his second season as an assistant coach with the hockey club.

Scott played for the Kamloops Blazers as a defenseman from 1991 to 1994 winning two Memorial Cups as a player with the hockey club. Undrafted, Ferguson went on to a 14 year professional career in the NHL, AHL and Europe. Scott played 218 NHL games with Edmonton, Anaheim and Minnesota amassing 21 points and 310 penalty minutes. 

The Camrose, Alberta native is a testament of hard work. Ferguson walked on with the Blazers as an 18 year old rookie, and turned his 3 year junior career into a long professional career. 

Scott and his wife, Val, live in Kamloops with their three kids Rebekah, Zane and Avery.
